With the continuous upgrading of technology, the magnetic flap level gauge has been applied to the liquid level measurement of various liquids with low viscosity and not easy to crystallize, and liquid level measurement under negative pressure. There are many comprehensive factors in the negative pressure state, so it will inevitably affect the normal measurement. The following is an analysis of the typical failures of pipeline leakage under negative pressure. 1. Failure phenomenon The main U3 brine level gauge of the seawater desalination device begins to fluctuate by 30% to 70%. Check that the body of the level gauge is normal. After the upper and lower valves of the level gauge are closed, the fluctuation of the level measurement decreases. Small, but the fault phenomenon has not disappeared. The main load of the desalination U3 will be reduced by using the blast furnace shutdown fan and the cause of the failure will be found. Fully close the upper and lower valves of the liquid level gauge and remove the lower plug, open the drain valve for exhaust and sewage treatment, and detect the magnetic float, and no abnormality is found. When put into operation, the fluctuation phenomenon exists. After the concentrated brine level gauge was replaced, it was put into operation again, and it was found that the level of the level gauge fluctuated more and more frequently. After investigation, it was found that there was a leakage point at the welding point of the pipeline connected to the liquid level measurement container. After the leakage point was plugged, the liquid level measurement showed that it became stable, and the production under load returned to normal. 2. Cause analysis From the actual situation, the actual liquid level of concentrated brine did not fluctuate when the fault occurred, but the floating ball inside the liquid level gauge did float up and down, thus presenting the illusion of liquid level fluctuation. After closing the valve on the level gauge, the fluctuation stops, and it can be judged that the up and down of the float is caused by the interaction between the gas-water mixture and the negative pressure environment. That is, the gas enters from the bottom of the liquid level gauge, which drives the floating ball to rise, and the upper part of the liquid level gauge communicates with the negative pressure environment. Repeatedly, the liquid level fluctuates falsely.
Getting doesn't have to be expensive, time-consuming, or difficult. It all comes down to the right method and a customized level indicator level gauge in place.
