Due to the many advantages of the radar level gauge itself, the 5900s radar level gauge can be widely used in oil storage tanks, but there are still some problems in the actual measurement process.
The problem is analyzed; the lost wave problem, the lost wave is that the echo is too weak, the main reason for this problem is that the oil level and the direction of the radar level gauge antenna are not kept vertical, and the liquid level guage is disturbed or there are disturbance factors. Therefore, it is necessary to check the antenna of the radar level gauge to see if there are other adhesions or condensation, and clean the antenna and adjust the direction to the correct state.
After the radar level gauge is installed in the oil storage tank of an oil depot, the measurement is carried out by means of frequency modulation continuous wave. The staff analyzes the inlet temperature, outlet temperature and historical data of the liquid level of the oil storage tank.
It is concluded that during the application of the radar level gauge in the oil depot, the rosemount 5900s radar level gauge has never had any problems, which shows that the radar level gauge has a long trouble-free time, which shows that the radar level gauge is reliable. The measurement results of the radar level gauge are extremely accurate, and the measurement and calculation work will not be affected by problems such as calipers, and the performance is higher than that of the mechanical level gauge.
