Principle and characteristics of remote transmitters

2023-08-30

Remote transmitter is short for reed switch remote transmitter. The remote control transmitter is generally used as an accessory of the magnetic flap level meter, and the magnetic flap level meter used in conjunction with both of them is also called remote magnetic flap level meter. In order to make the instrument users have a more in-depth knowledge and understanding of the magnetic flip-flop level meter, this article combines the principle of the remote transmitter to introduce what are the characteristics and uses of the remote transmitter.

First, the principle of the remote transmitter

The working principle of the remote transmitter is very simple. At first, the internal two pieces of reed did not contact, when the magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet or electromagnetic coil, the applied magnetic field so that the two pieces of reed near the end position of different polarity, if the magnetic force exceeds the reed's own elasticity, the two pieces of the reed will be suction on the circuit; weak magnetic field is weakened or disappeared, the reed due to its own elasticity and release, the contact surface will be separated and thus disconnecting the circuit. The working principle of the tele-transmitter is shown as follows: i.e., a resistor is used to divide the voltage, which is connected to the output through an absorbing reed switch. As the magnetic float follows the liquid level, the reed switch close to it is switched on and the output voltage reflects the corresponding liquid level. The distance between two reed switches reflects the resolution of the level meter, while the number of reed switches depends on the range of the magnetic flap level meter.

Characteristics of remote transmitter

1、Cooperate with magnetic flap level meter to achieve real-time monitoring of liquid level. Realise remote indication and real-time monitoring of liquid level;

2、Using imported TI monolithic CLT technology chip to complete the voltage and current conversion, to achieve 4-20mA output;

3, the outer tube is made of 304 stainless steel, with strong corrosion resistance;

4, the use of imported plastic reed switch, long life;

5, with explosion-proof and intrinsically safe double explosion-proof certification;

6, high protection level, up to IP66/67.

Third, the use of remote transmitter

When the universal remote transmitter is used in conjunction with magnetic flap level meter, it can realise the remote indication and recording of liquid level. This is also a major feature of the reed switch remote transmitter is also its main purpose, that is, it can transmit the liquid level over a long distance, so that the instrument observers in the monitoring room can intuitively read the real-time liquid level situation. Especially in the cold winter, it is more convenient for instrument observers to monitor and control the liquid level of outdoor containers.
