Differential pressure transmitters have been widely used and need to be applied to differential pressure transmitters in many environments. Differential pressure transmitter manufacturers generally have a one-year warranty, and some have a two-year warranty, but no manufacturer will often maintain the differential pressure transmitter for you, so we still need to understand the daily maintenance method of the differential pressure transmitter. There are mainly 8 points: 1. When measuring the liquid pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon) to avoid damage to the transmitter over pressure. 2. When freezing occurs in winter, the transmitter installed outdoors must take anti-freezing measures to prevent the liquid in the pressure port from expanding due to icing and causing the loss of the transmitter. 3. When wiring, pass the cable through the waterproof connector or flexible tube and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable. 4. Prevent dross from depositing in the pipe and the transmitter from contact with corrosive or overheated media. 5. When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a condenser such as a buffer tube (coil) should be connected, and the working temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit. 6. When measuring gas pressure, the pressure tap should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the transmitter should also be installed on the upper part of the process pipeline, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline. 7. When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure tap should be opened on the side of the process pipeline to avoid slag deposits. 8. The pressure guiding tube should be installed in a place with small temperature fluctuations. It is very helpful for us to understand the daily maintenance methods of the above-mentioned differential pressure transmitters, so as to ensure that our differential pressure transmitters will last longer and have more stable performance. Of course, these are only a few of the routine maintenance, and there are other things that need to be noted, such as sending it back to the manufacturer for calibration after one year to prevent the transmitter from drifting.
