Why does the value of ultrasonic level meter fluctuate?

When ultrasonic level transmitter signal strength fluctuates, the reason for the disorderly value of the ultrasonic liquid level meter may be that the signal strength of the ultrasonic liquid level meter fluctuates greatly, and the measurement value of itself fluctuates greatly. It is recommended to adjust the probe position to ensure that the signal strength is stable, such as its own value fluctuations, then it is recommended to re-select the installation position.

The horn of the sondar ultrasonic level meter sensor has icing phenomenon, or there may be suspended matter and electromagnetic field interference. It is recommended that the liquid level gauge be installed away from the frequency conversion motor, high-power electric equipment, and strong magnetic field interference, and have a good grounding cable. If it is really impossible to change the installation position, then it is necessary to install a metal instrument box outside the ultrasonic level meter to isolate the shield, and the instrument box also needs to be grounded. 

And the installation is not in line with the ultrasonic level transmitter manufacturer's requirements, such as the covering layer, PVC pipe insertion length, etc. Under this situation, it is recommended to reinstall the liquid level gauge.You can also use echo to adjust parameters, in addition to check whether there is more than the upper limit of the blind area.Lastly, check whether the liquid level is stable, such as whether there is foam.If there is no foam, then the flowmeter needs to be re-calibrated.
