This means that when a charged conductor passes through a magnetic field and cuts the magnetic field lines, it will generate induced electromotive force on both sides of the pipe. The electromagnetic field is generated by the current flowing through the coil outside the measuring tube. The magnitude of the induced voltage is directly proportional to the speed and the conductivity of the conductor, the diameter of the pipe, and the strength of the magnetic field. Specifically, we can express Faraday's law as E u003d K × B × D × V, where V represents the velocity of the conductive fluid , B represents the magnetic field strength, D represents the diameter of the measuring pipe section, E represents the voltage on the electrode, and K is a constant. B, D, and K can be fixed values, so the equation is simplified to the proportional relationship between E and V.   Most electromagnetic flow meters use low frequency square waves to excite the sensor coil. It can be 1/25, 1/16, 1/10 or 1/4 grid frequency, and half the grid frequency. The amplitude of the low-frequency square wave excitation is unchanged, but the direction of the current flowing in and out of the coil is changed.  Sensor signal conditioning-analog front-end common-mode rejection ratio   common-mode voltage must be suppressed by the electromagnetic flowmeter converter, and the analog front-end circuit plays the most important role in it. If the circuit has a common-mode rejection ratio of 120 decibels, the 0.28V common-mode voltage can be reduced to 0.28 μV, and if the common-mode rejection ratio is 100 dB, the rejection is 2.8 μV.  Electromagnetic flowmeter-signal processing circuit architecture comparison   Although the specific implementation may be different, the sensor signal processing of the electromagnetic flowmeter can be divided into two main methods: analog synchronous demodulation and digital oversampling.  Analog demodulation is a traditional method, but it is still widely used in the industry today. It usually uses preamplifiers, bandpass filter amplifiers, sample-and-hold, synchronous demodulation, analog-to-digital converters and microcontrollers.   shows the signal chain of a typical analog synchronous demodulation circuit. The microvolt or millivolt level signal output by the sensor is first amplified by an integrated instrumentation amplifier or an instrumentation amplifier built with discrete devices.
