Guided wave radar level gauge is used in water and liquid storage tank, acid and alkali storage tank, slurry storage tank, solid particle, small oil storage tank. All kinds of conductive, non-conductive media, corrosive media. Such as coal bunker, ash bin, oil tank, acid tank and so on.
Guided wave magnetrol radar level gauges, a liquid level measuring instrument in the chemical industry. Guided wave radar level meter is a radar level meter based on the time domain reflectometry (TDR) principle. The electromagnetic pulse of radar level meter propagates along the steel cable or probe rod at the speed of light. When it meets the surface of the measured medium, part of the pulse of radar level meter is reflected to form an echo and returns to the pulse launching device along the same path. The distance between the transmitter and the measured medium surface is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse during which the liquid level height is calculated.
Guided wave radar level meter is a measuring instrument based on the principle of time travel. Radar waves travel at the speed of light, and the running time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. The probe emits a high-frequency pulse that travels along the cable probe, and when the pulse hits the surface of the material, it is reflected back to be received by the receiver inside the meter, and the distance signal is converted into a level signal.
The electromagnetic pulse of the guided wave radar liquid level meter propagates along the steel cable or probe at the speed of light. When it encounters the surface of the measured medium, part of the pulse is reflected back to form an echo and returns to the pulse launcher along the same path. The distance between the launcher and the measured medium surface is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse. The polarity and amplitude of the echo depend on the dielectric constant εr of the upper and lower media. Generally speaking, the upper medium is usually a gas, its permittivity is close to εr1.0, and the lower dielectric constant is higher.
