The difference between integrated and separate photoelectric liquid level sensors

The photoelectric liquid level sensor contains an infrared light-emitting diode and a photoelectric receiver. The light from the LEDs is directed into a prism on top of the sensor, and if there is no liquid, the light is reflected directly from the prism back to the receiver. When there is liquid, the light is refracted into the liquid, so that the receiver cannot receive or can only receive a small amount of light, and the receiver drives the internal electrical switch to work, thereby sending out an alarm signal. Photoelectric liquid level sensors are widely used in electrical appliances and equipment in various industries. At present, there are two types of photoelectric liquid level sensors on the market, which can be divided into integrated type and separate type mainly according to their structural classification. The following introduces the application fields and differences between the integrated and separate types. The photoelectric liquid level sensor is mainly composed of a light cone that can reflect light, a pair of transmitting and receiving tubes, and a wire. The one-piece photoelectric liquid level sensor usually consists of a head with a housing with a light cone, all components are inside, and the wire extends from the head. The separate photoelectric liquid level sensor separates the sensor from the light cone. The light cone is usually designed on the container of the equipment, and the rest of the structure is the same as the one-piece type. The integrated photoelectric liquid level sensor needs to be in contact with the liquid to work, so using the integrated photoelectric liquid level sensor requires a hole in the water tank to install the sensor on the device. The integrated photoelectric liquid level sensor is suitable for use in electrical equipment where the water tank and the machine are not separated. The separate photoelectric liquid level sensor does not need to touch the liquid, so there is no need to open a hole on the water tank. And because the separate photoelectric liquid level sensor has the characteristics of non-contact detection, the container can be moved arbitrarily, which has the advantage of being convenient for users to clean and add liquid. The integrated photoelectric liquid level sensor is suitable for equipment where the container does not move; the separate photoelectric liquid level sensor is suitable for electrical equipment where the container is not separated. The difference between the integrated type and the separate type is still in the appearance. The photoelectric type has a crystal head, while the separate type does not.
