The difference between the side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge and the top-mounted side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge

The magnetic flap level gauge is divided into top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge and side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge according to the installation method. The use conditions and installation methods of different magnetic flip level gauges should also be different. 1. Installation of the side-mounted magnetic flap liquid level gauge 1. The side-mounted magnetic flap liquid level gauge is installed on the suction pipe on the outer side of the container, and is commonly connected with flanges. When choosing the type of flange, attention should be paid to the connection The flanges should match the corresponding flanges on the vessel. 2. Generally, a stop valve should be added between the upper and lower suction pipes and the magnetic flap liquid level gauge, so as to be repaired when the magnetic flap liquid level gauge is running, debugged and faulty. 3. In order to ensure that the magnetic float can run smoothly up and down, it should be noted that the side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge should be installed vertically. 4. Since there is a sinking distance and a drain valve at the lower end of the magnetic flap level gauge, there should be enough installation space at the lower end of the container. 5. The user needs to open the lower flange before installation, and insert the float with the arrow and the magnetic end of the heavy end into the float. For production and installation, each section is connected by flanges, and a supporting device needs to be added to ensure the stable installation of the liquid level gauge. 7. Before the magnetic flap level gauge is put into operation, a float or a piece of magnetic steel should be used to turn the flaps above the zero position into white, and the flaps below the zero position into red. 8. When the magnetic flap liquid level gauge is running, the upper cut-off valve should be opened first, and then the lower cut-off valve should be opened slowly to allow the liquid medium to slowly flow into the main measuring tube to avoid damage to the magnetic float due to excessive liquid entry. 2. Installation of the top-mounted magnetic flap liquid level gauge The top-mounted magnetic flap liquid level gauge is often used for liquid level measurement of some underground storage tanks or containers that are inconvenient to install on the side. The difference between it and the side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge is that the lower end of the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge only has a process connection flange connected to the container to be measured, and the structure of the float is also the same as that of the side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge. The float used for the plate level gauge is different. 1. The float of the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge is connected to the upper and lower floats as a whole through the connecting rod. The lower floating ball moves up and down with the liquid level and drives the upper magnetic float to move up and down through the connecting rod to drive the outer magnetic flip. The plate flips over to indicate the liquid level. This requires that when the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge is installed, the main body of the measurement tube should be kept vertical, and the float connecting rod cannot be bent and must be inserted straight. 2. In order to prevent the float from swinging left and right under the impact of the liquid, a protective tube device is usually added to the bottom of the magnetic flap level gauge during installation. The float moves up and down in the protective tube without jamming. 3. When the installation height reaches 4 to 5 meters, fixed cables should be added on both sides to ensure that the instrument will not be damaged under the harsh measurement environment (such as vibration on site, collision, strong wind, etc.). 4. The installation position of the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge should avoid the liquid filling port to prevent the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge protective conduit or float from being impacted. 5. It is not easy to choose too small the installation connection flange, otherwise it will easily cause the blind area to be too large, and because of the large running resistance of the small float in the protective tube, the float is easy to be stuck in operation. Generally, the installation connection flange should not be smaller than DN80. In addition to the magnetic flap liquid level gauge, the externally attached liquid level gauge is a commonly used non-contact liquid level instrument. It does not need to open holes in the container to be measured, and the ultrasonic probe can be attached to the bottom of the storage tank to complete the measurement. The externally mounted liquid level gauge adopts explosion-proof design and can be widely used in the measurement of acid-base, corrosive, flammable and explosive media in various working conditions.
