In a vessel with agitation, the radar level meter can also be adjusted to different water depths, level changes and agitation intensity by adjusting the beam angle and scanning frequency.

A pharmaceutical company needed to monitor the level of a mixture in a reactor in real time. The traditional level meter is prone to errors when the reactor is under the influence of stirring, so the company chose to measure with a radar level meter. Before the actual measurement, the company's technicians first installed a radar level meter on the top of the reactor. Because the monitored liquid would change during the stirring process, they adopted a dynamic calibration method during the calibration, i.e., they continuously adjusted the calibration parameters of the radar level meter during the stirring reaction to ensure the accuracy of the monitoring data. The results showed that compared with the traditional level meter, the radar level meter was still able to measure the liquid level accurately and the radar level measurement data had a certain stability when the stirring was very strong.
