When measuring liquid flow, the flow direction should be from bottom to top: this will not add extra liquid weight to the probe. 5. Vibration reduction measures shall be taken for the pipeline. Try to avoid installing the sensor on the pipeline with strong vibration, especially the lateral vibration. The sensor is installed upside down in the horizontal pipeline. This installation method is generally not recommended. This installation method is not suitable for measuring general gas and superheated steam. The installation of the sensor on the pipeline with the insulation layer. When measuring high-temperature steam, the insulation layer should not exceed one-third of the height of the bracket. 8. Selection of pressure measuring point and temperature measuring point. According to the needs of measurement, when the pressure and temperature need to be measured near the sensor, the pressure measurement point should be at 3-5D downstream of the sensor, and the temperature measurement point should be at 6-8D downstream of the sensor. 9. The sensor is installed on the side of the horizontal pipeline. No matter what kind of fluid is being measured, the sensor can be installed sideways on horizontal pipes, especially to measure superheated steam, saturated steam and cryogenic liquids.
