RF Admittance Level Switch is a common level measurement switch with wide application, mainly used for the level measurement of plastic, feed, grain, rubber, medicine, sand, food, cement, paint, clothing, pulp and other materials. When it comes to RF Admittance level switch, many people will question: What is the difference between RF Admittance level switch and radar level meter?

First, the working principle of the two is different

  1, radar level meter is based on the principle of time domain reflection (TDR: Time Domain Reflectometry), the microwave pulse from the end of the antenna to transmit out. When the emitted pulse touches the surface of the measured medium, part of the energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. Through the principle of time extension technology, the distance between the transmitting device and the surface of the measured medium is proportional to the propagation time of the pulse in between, and the time interval between the transmitting and receiving pulses is calculated, so as to further deduce the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.

  2、The working principle of RF conductivity level switch is to realize level measurement and control by sensing the change of electrical resistance (capacitive resistance and impedance) between the probe and the tank body. Its internal electronic unit, from the probe measuring pole and the no-load tank reactance together to form a balanced bridge circuit and generate a stable oscillation signal. When the measured medium covers the probe measurement pole, it causes the reactance between the probe measurement pole and the tank to change, resulting in the bridge circuit being unbalanced and stopping the oscillation signal, which is detected by the back-end circuit to output an alarm signal.

  The oscillation signal as RF signal applied to the probe measuring pole at the same time, but also after 1:1 voltage follower sent to the probe's protection pole, measuring pole and protection pole RF signal with equal potential, the same phase, the same frequency and isolated from each other. When the probe has hanging material, there is no potential difference between the measuring pole and the protection pole to form electrical isolation to ensure that the signal change of the protection pole does not affect the detection, so that the change of reactance on the probe measuring pole can only be determined by the material between the probe measuring pole and the tank, so that the hanging material on the probe will not affect the normal detection.
