Magnetic Flip-Flop Level Gauge

It is a commonly used liquid level measurement instrument, which is very commonly used in storage tanks, tanks and other containers. The level indication of the instrument is mainly accomplished by a magnetic panel indicator tied to the outside of the measuring tube. Magnetic panel indicator, also known as magnetic flip-flop indicator or display panel, usually consists of panel frame, magnetic flip-flop, guide rail and cover plate. When the magnetic float inside the float moves up and down with the liquid level, the magnetic flaps inside the indicator is flipped by the magnetic coupling of the float, thus reflecting the change of the liquid level inside the container. People usually give different colors to the two sides of the small flap, through the color change of the flap to determine the liquid level in the container.

The more common panel indicator combinations on the market are the following: PVC plastic panel frame and ABS plastic flip column combination, hereinafter referred to as PVC panel; aluminum alloy panel frame and aluminum alloy flap or plastic flip column combination, hereinafter referred to as aluminum alloy panel; stainless steel panel frame and aluminum alloy flap or plastic flip column combination, hereinafter referred to as stainless steel panel. In summary, the magnetic panel indicator of magnetic flap level gauge mainly has PVC panel, aluminum alloy panel and stainless steel panel.

Because the material is different, its characteristics and application scope are not the same, is divided into the following:

I. PVC panel 

The panel frame is processed by PVC material (i.e. polyvinyl chloride).PVC material has non-flammability, certain strength, and excellent geometrical stability, and has certain resistance to oxidizing agent, reducing agent, and acid and alkali, but the weather aging resistance is a little bit poor. Generally used in corrosive environments or parts prone to corrosive materials, as well as indoor and other places that are not easily exposed to sunlight. Temperature resistance is not good, generally used in room temperature media environment. Because of its light weight, low cost, so also get more applications.

Second, aluminum alloy panel

Its panel frame is processed from aluminum alloy material. Aluminum alloy material has low density, high strength, good plasticity, can be processed into a variety of profiles, with excellent corrosion resistance. This kind of panel can be used in high and low temperature environment, and the price is moderate, has been widely used.

Third, stainless steel panel

Its panel frame material is mainly composed of stainless steel material. As we all know, stainless steel material has good corrosion resistance, high strength, high temperature resistance, but high cost, high weight, generally used in outdoor and corrosion requirements or high temperature places .
