Conveyor Pull Cord Safety Switch

Emergency pull cord switch is a protection switch used for emergency stop pull cord switch. When an emergency occurs on the belt conveyor, the staff can start the pull cord stop switch at any position along the conveyor and stop the belt immediately to prevent the expansion of the accident. This product is easy to install, reliable performance, It is widely used in the field of belt conveyor.

The conveyor pull cord switches are actuated by a plastic coated steel wire, which are placed along-side the conveyor.When you pull on the cable at any point, it will trip and automatically lock the conveyor safety switches, deenergizing the conveyor starter contactor.

Each conveyor safety switch is bi-directional in operation and has two cable fitted to it from opposite directions terminated with a spring at the anchor points,
After tripping the mechanical latch can be released only on the switch itself by the reset lever.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE

Periodic Inspection

(1) Cleaning

Always clean when an excessive amount of dust accumulates on the touch roller.

(2) Wear of Touch Roller

Check wear of the touch roller . When 2 millimeters are worn off the roller, replace as explained in 6.3.

(3) Confirmation of Action

Check to see if the Belt Sway Switch is working normally by testing the touch roller.

Lubrication

The emergency pull cord switch has no need to lubricate.

Replacement of Touch Roller

By loosening the 12 millimeters-sized nut, the touch roller can be taken off easily from the lever.

Secure the nut when the touch roller is replaced, or the conveyor pull cord switch may cause trouble if the nut comes loose.

Tightening of Cover

When taking off the conveyor pull cord switchfor the sake of writing, adjusting and checking, secure the screws of the cover after working, or conveyor pull cord switch may cause trouble due to water and dust entering from between the cover and casing.
