PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Vibrating Rod Level Switches provide reliable level detection of powders and bulk solids. This com- pact, integral switch is suitable for high or low level detection in hoppers or silos. It may also be used for plugged chute detection.

APPLICATIONS

● Powders and bulk solids with maximum particle size of 1⁄2 inch (10 mm) including.

● Plastic powders and pellets.

● Wood chips and sawdust.

Self-testing:

● After power-on, red light on, the probe begin vibrate, put hand on the probe, the relay will work and red light off, then let hand off the probe, after 1-2 seconds, the red light will on again.

● Sensitivity selection: set according to material, typically it’s set on HIGH sensitivity.

● 1. In high temperature environment, try to set on LOW sensitivity.

Detection:

● When probe touch the material, the probe stop vibrate, the relay will work and red light off (its opposite if “NO”)

● When material leave off the probe for 1-2 seconds, the red light will on again, the relay will work (its opposite if “NO”)
