Polarization voltage of the electrode. Measuring the polarization voltage between the electrode and the liquid will help determine whether the zero point instability or the output shaking failure is caused by the electrode being contaminated or covered. Use the 2V DC gear of the digital multimeter to measure the polarization voltage between the two electrodes and the ground (the electromagnetic flowmeter can be measured without or without power failure). The polarization voltage is determined by the 'electrode potential' of the electrode material and the properties of the liquid, and the measured value may be between several mV to several hundred mV. In fact, the contamination of the two electrodes during operation cannot be completely symmetrical, so the voltage on the two electrodes forms an asymmetric common-mode voltage. The asymmetric common-mode voltage becomes a differential-mode signal, causing a zero offset.   3. Judging the direction of pipeline stray current flow. Sometimes to find the source of stray interference in the pipeline is upstream or downstream of the flow sensor, in order to narrow the search range and try to reduce or eliminate the influence of stray current interference.   4. Measurement of signal cable interference. The signal cable is subject to external electrostatic induction and electromagnetic induction interference, which will cause the zero point of the electromagnetic flowmeter to change. In order to judge whether the zero point change is affected by the signal cable interference potential, it is necessary to determine the general range of the interference and the degree of influence on the electromagnetic flowmeter.   5. Measure the presence or absence of ground potential. During the normal use of the electromagnetic flowmeter, if the state of the motor (force) near the sensor changes (such as leakage), the ground potential will change and cause the zero point to change. To check whether there is any influence in this respect, short-circuit the working grounding terminal C of the converter and the protective grounding terminal, and judge whether there is a grounding potential by the change of the zero point (or the indicated value).  The electromagnetic flowmeter is simply composed of a flow sensor transmitter. The installation requirement of the electromagnetic flowmeter is that it must be installed at the lowest point of the pipeline or the vertical section of the pipeline, but it must be in the case of full pipe.
