Principle
The 3DPro2501 series 3D laser material leveler utilizes laser ranging technology. A laser radar emits a laser beam, which reflects off the surface of the material and is received by a photodetector inside the laser radar. By measuring the time of flight of the laser beam from emission to reception, the distance between the material surface and the laser radar can be determined. The 3DPro2501 3D Laser Material Scanner uses a 2D LiDAR to emit a single laser line. Combined with a precision-synchronized rotating gimbal or oscillating mechanism, the 2D LiDAR rotates or oscillates in another dimension, thereby achieving 3D scanning of the material surface. The control software integrates image processing, big data analysis, AI, machine learning, cloud storage, and computing technologies to analyze and convert the data into a 3D point cloud of the material surface. It then constructs a high-precision, high-resolution 3D model to calculate material parameters such as mass, volume, and level. Additionally, it can output point cloud data for use in process control integration.
For small-scale sites, a single 3DPro2501 3D laser material level sensor is sufficient; for large-scale sites, multiple 3DPro2501 units can be deployed. The software features a unique stitching and registration algorithm that integrates the 3D data from each 3DPro2501 unit to create a comprehensive 3D representation of the material across the entire measurement area. The 3DPro2501 3D laser stockpile scanner can operate automatically and continuously 24 hours a day, rapidly measuring and accurately capturing 3D data in real time. This enables the collection of material inventory, sales, and stock data, as well as the 3D distribution of materials, thereby achieving intelligent, information-driven, and accurate stockpile management, data visualization, process transparency, and unmanned automation on-site.
