Correct handling method for false material level in high-frequency radar level gauge (with photos)

Case: A coal mine in Shanxi purchased a batch of high-frequency radar level gauges from our company through offline this year, which are mainly used to measure the height of coal. There was no problem at the beginning of use. Recently, it was found that the displayed material level felt wrong and did not match the actual material. When the material was added, the height was obviously eight meters, and the fake material level that appeared was only about seven meters. Is there a way to handle it. When there is a fake material level, we should look at the problem from many aspects, whether it is the quality of the product itself, or the height of the coal on site is deviated, or there is a false material level. The false level of failure is usually caused by the following factors: (1) Maintain a constant level. Antenna scarring. Thick, wet scars strongly reflect microwaves, keeping the meter measurements at a constant high level. (2) Echo interference. Interfering echoes from the antenna or nearby condensate when the material level is emptied. Correct handling method for false material level: 1) Carefully clean the antenna and the attachments near the antenna as shown in Figure 1. Figure 12) Activate and reasonably set the 'window resistance' distance. 'Window Suppression' is also called 'Near Field Suppression'. This function is used to eliminate the influence of the installation flange welding seam, the antenna or the nearby hanging material measurement, which is an effective means to optimize the measurement. By setting the near-site suppression distance, the instrument registers the echoes within this range as interference echoes and does not measure. 3) Carry out 'fixed component echo suppression'. In addition to intelligently filtering out the interference echo by the software, the radar level gauge can also resist the echo of the fixed component by registering the interference wave. 4) An echo problem occurs. When the material in the tank will be full, the meter displays a lower material level, which is due to the increase of multiple echoes in the liquid level rising tank. During the program processing, a beam of echoes with a long time travel is mistakenly identified as the measurement echo, so Calculate the larger overhead distance. For this situation, the near-site suppression distance should be modified to eliminate the effects of multiple echoes. The above is the correct way to deal with the false level of the high-frequency radar level meter. The problem is not terrible. We must learn to deal with the problem and have a good solution.
