The magnetic flap liquid level gauge realizes real-time measurement of liquid level according to the principle of connector and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the container under test rises and falls, the magnetic float in the float also rises and falls, and the permanent magnet in the float drives the magnetic flap outside the float to turn 180° through magnetic coupling, and both sides of the flap are painted with different colors ( Usually red and white) to indicate the position of the liquid level. Generally, when the liquid level in the container rises, the flap changes from white to red; when the liquid level in the container drops, the flap changes from red to white. The red and white junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level in the container, thus realizing the accurate measurement of the liquid level. 2. When the magnetostrictive level gauge is measuring, the circuit unit generates a current pulse, which is transmitted down along the magnetostrictive line and generates a ring-shaped magnetic field. There is a float outside the detection rod, and the float moves up and down along the detection rod with the change of the liquid level. Since the float contains a set of permanent magnets, the float simultaneously generates a magnetic field. When the current magnetic field meets the float's magnetic field, a 'twist' pulse, or 'return' pulse, is created. Convert the time difference between the 'return' pulse and the current pulse into a pulse signal, so as to calculate the actual position of the float and measure the liquid level. 2. Different functional characteristics 1. The structure of the magnetic flap liquid level gauge is relatively simple, and it has the characteristics of no blockage and no leakage, and can clearly and intuitively observe the liquid level in real time. However, because it does not have the remote transmission function, it needs to be used together with the reed switch remote transmission transmitter to realize remote observation and control. 2. The magnetostrictive liquid level gauge has no on-site visual display function, and the liquid level value can generally only be read through the liquid crystal head. However, the magnetostrictive liquid level gauge has the characteristics of long service life and high measurement accuracy, and is suitable for liquid level measurement occasions with high measurement accuracy and reliability requirements. In addition to magnetostrictive and magnetic flap liquid level gauges, externally attached liquid level gauges are also a commonly used liquid level instrument. There is no need to open holes in the container to be measured, and it can detect various toxic substances in high temperature and high pressure airtight containers.
