The test results show that the inner wall of the measuring tube of the flowmeter is smooth, and there is no possibility of large pressure drop. It was believed that the reason for the reduction of the DN40 to DN15 pipeline caused the pressure drop to increase. After communication, the plan of replacing the DN25 mass flowmeter was adopted. 3. Solution to mass flowmeter failure When the construction unit replaced the mass flowmeter, after cutting the original pipeline, it was found that there was a stone at the front flange of the flowmeter from DN40 to DN15 reducer to block the inlet of the flowmeter. Based on the above analysis, it is found that the main reason for the large pressure drop before and after the flowmeter is that the pressure drop at both ends of the flowmeter increases due to the blockage of stones. After the replacement of the DN25 flowmeter, the nitrogen demand of Company B was met.
