The operating temperature of the electromagnetic flowmeter depends on the lining material used, and is generally 5-70°C. If special treatment is done, it can exceed the above range, such as the wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant electromagnetic flowmeter produced by Tianjin Automation Instrument No. 3 Factory. The transmitter allows the temperature of the measured medium to be -40 to 130°C.  2. Selection of caliber and range  The transmitter caliber is usually the same caliber as the piping system. If the piping system needs to be designed, the caliber can be selected according to the flow range and flow rate. For electromagnetic flowmeters, the flow rate is more suitable to be 2-4m/s. In special cases, such as solid particles in the liquid, considering the abrasion, the usual flow rate ≤ 3m/s can be selected, for fluids that are easy to attach and manage. Optional flow rate ≥ 2m/s. The range of the transmitter can be selected according to two principles: one is that the full scale of the instrument is greater than the expected maximum flow value; the other is that the normal flow is greater than 50% of the full scale of the instrument to ensure a certain measurement accuracy. 3. Selection of lining material and electrode material The lining material and electrode material of the transmitter must be selected correctly according to the physical and chemical properties of the medium, otherwise the instrument will be damaged quickly due to the corrosion of the lining and electrode, and it is very corrosive Once the medium leaks, it is easy to cause accidents. Therefore, the electrode and lining materials must be carefully selected according to the specific measurement medium in the production process.
