Measurement failure caused by improper installation The installation position of the magnetic flap must be perpendicular to the ground. The position of the floating ball is mainly affected by buoyancy and its own gravity. Therefore, if the overall installation position of the magnetic flap is inclined, the friction between the floating ball and the pipe wall will increase, which will affect the normal floating of the floating ball. In addition, due to the large overall weight of the magnetic flap level gauge during the installation process, the drainage pipe connected to the side of the tank is subjected to large force, so it must be installed in the middle when the range is large (generally more than 3M). Magnetic flap level gauges often fail due to pressure or temperature changes resulting in deformation of the float, weakening of magnetism or leakage during working conditions. In most working conditions, the temperature and pressure can be maintained within a certain range during use, and this range is the design parameter range of the magnetic flap level gauge. In some special conditions, the instantaneous temperature or pressure may exceed the maximum design temperature or pressure of the float, resulting in a weakening of the magnetic induction or the deformation of the float under compression. When the floating ball is subjected to overload pressure, the volume of irreversible deformation will change, and the buoyancy in the liquid will also change, but its own quality does not change. G=m·g, F=ρ·v·g where: G is the gravity of the floating ball, m is the mass of the floating ball, F is the buoyant force on the floating ball, ρ is the density of the liquid, v is the volume of the liquid displaced by the floating ball, g is the acceleration of gravity. In normal use, the gravity of the float must be equal to the buoyancy in the water. When the volume v decreases after compression and deformation, the buoyancy decreases, and the float will sink. When the floating ball is completely submerged in the water, the buoyant force it receives is also large. At this time, if G=F, the actual liquid level will be higher than the displayed liquid level; if G>F, the floating ball will continue to sink under the action of gravity , until the bottom of the float. 4. High and low temperature environment causes failure The use environment of the magnetic flap level gauge is mostly outdoors, and the low ambient temperature in some areas is also one of the reasons for the failure of the magnetic flap. For example, in some working conditions, the temperature of the measured liquid in the tank must be kept constant. At this time, an external constant temperature device (such as electric heating type, water or steam circulation type) needs to be added to the magnetic flap level gauge. Equipment problems or excessive pressure of the jacket leads to leakage of circulating water or steam, which can also cause it to fail. In winter in northern regions, if the material is affected by the low temperature environment, the waterproof performance of the entire panel will deteriorate.
