Classification of float level gauges

Float level gauges have a wide range of applications in the industrial field. What are some classifications of common float level gauges? 1. Balanced float level gauge uses pulleys and rigging to connect a balance force outside the container, such as a counterweight or a spring, with a float inside the container. Once the float moves up and down with the liquid level, it will drive the rigging, pulley or counterweight or clockwork to move. The liquid level is then read outside the container by detecting displacement or rotation during this movement. One is usually used more on large storage tanks. 2. The lever type float level gauge is set with a lever and the fulcrum is set on the wall of the container, and then the float is fixed on the end of the lever located inside the container. When the float moves up and down with the liquid level, it will drive the other end of the lever outside the container to move, or drive the fulcrum to rotate. The liquid level is then read outside the container by detecting the displacement or angle of rotation during this movement. Generally, this type of liquid level gauge has the characteristics of strong resistance to external force and high reliability, so it is often used on mobile containers or made into liquid level switches. 3. Link-type float level gauge This type of level gauge is equipped with a connecting rod on the upper part of the floating ball. When the floating ball moves up and down, it will drive the connecting rod to move up and down together, and read the liquid level at the upper end of the connecting rod. . This type of liquid level gauge is generally suitable for liquid level measurement when the liquid level is lower than the operating height of personnel (such as underground pools). 4. Guide rod type float level gauge This type of level gauge is suitable for occasions where the medium in the container is in violent motion. It has the characteristics of simple structure when only the remote signal is required and the on-site level scale indication is not required. At the same time, it is also the type that uses more 'float level gauge' in naming. 5. The connecting tube type float level gauge is designed according to the principle of connecting tube. When there is liquid in the container, the liquid will enter the vertical pipeline and be equal to the liquid level in the container. At this time, a float is placed in the pipeline, and the position of the float can reflect the liquid level in the container.
